The Facade Engineering Programme offers the perfect pathway for students and professionals pursuing a career in Facade engineering fields. This certification is recognized by employers all over the globe.
Students aged 18 and above, with a suitable academic background or related work experience can achieve an engineering qualification that equips them with the core knowledge, skills and techniques to build a successful career in the engineering field.
The selection of specialist modules and technical experience obtained in this Programme prepares students with the working practices essential to develop problem solving techniques in a professional engineering environment.
This Program is designed for those who are working in facade engineering or those seeking new career opportunities in the construction or architecture industries. It is open to engineers, architects and suitably qualified candidates from other fields, including those engaged in the procurement, design, manufacture and assembly of building envelope systems, with a first degree or equivalent professional qualification.

Aims & Objectives
This Training provides an integral combination of the theoretical and practical knowledge basis for a complete and sound understanding of all disciplines attributing to the operational performance of façades. It examines the complex inter-relationships between those different aspects throughout a consideration of the existing constructions. Knowledge of materials, methods of manufacturing and installation are an essential element in the successful design of façades, and are given a conspicuous place in the Training which will be expanded though varies factories and site visits.
It leads to re-appraise basic physical concepts so that they may be imaginatively applied to the Engineering of building façades. Pursue careers in the design, management, manufacture or construction of facades and as specialists in architectural and engineering practices.
This Training will not only help prepare for an exciting career in the industry, but it will also help prepare to continue their future studies in the Façade Engineering.
Apart from studying and the assessments that you would have to pass through, a proper network is equally as important. Admission Requirements
- Students/Learners with the Age 18 and above are eligible for the qualification but required to meet all the other Admission criteria’s.
- High School Qualification (O levels/A levels/12th) and above.
- Demonstrate English Language Proficiency in order to participate in the Programme taught in English.
- Also refer to RPL guide to know more about exemptions (for working professionals only).
ADVANCE STANDING (APL)/ (RPL)
- Advanced Standing / Exemptions / Credits Transfer (APL)
Consideration for the above for students admitted onto the programme may be considered either at the beginning of a programme, or beyond the beginning of a programme, through an assessment of that student’s prior learning, whether certificated or un-certificated. The process for making such a decision is known as the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) or Recognition of Prior Learning(RPL) is a matter of academic judgment exercised by the appointed panel considering applications and approvals of APL.
Where cohorts of students are to be admitted with advanced standing on a regular basis, the arrangement should be subject to an Academic Progression Agreement
